T.J. Wright concentrates his practice in the areas of general counsel, business transactions, commercial litigation, risk management, and transportation law. He advises businesses on corporate governance, contract negotiations, regulatory compliance, personnel matters and financial transfer. He also focuses on insurance coverage and related litigation, representing insurance companies in disputes involving general liability, E&O, commercial auto, excess, and inland marine policies.
Prior to joining Emerson & Elder, T.J. gained experience in both law firms and in-house legal departments, where he advised clients on a range of legal issues, including business structuring, contracting, and compliance.
While in law school, T.J. participated in the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court competition, focusing on trademark law. He also served in leadership of the St. Thomas Sports & Entertainment Law Society. In his free time T.J. enjoys live music, exercising, and spending time with his family.
