Attorney Profile

In law school, C.J. interned at the Forsyth County Public Defender’s Office, working on Superior Court felony cases. C.J. externed with the Honorable Ted Kazakos focusing on criminal and domestic trials. C.J. clerked for the Kelly Law Group PLLC an entertainment law firm that specializes in collegiate coaching contracts. C.J. completed externships with both Lisa Costner, a criminal defense attorney focusing on state and federal cases, and Morrow Porter Vermitsky & Taylor PLLC, a civil litigation firm.

Before law school, C.J. worked as a Legislative Analyst in the lobbying branch of FTI Consulting, Inc. in Washington, D.C., tracking Congressional and Executive actions related to, among others, transportation and financial services policy matters. Before this, C.J. completed internships with Illinois Congressman Dan Lipinski (IL-03) and Illinois State Representative Tom Demmer (IL-90).
